Birtíngur publishing, publishes the daily paper DV, a powerful news-web dv.is and is the largest magazine publishing company in Iceland. Birtíngur publishes 9 magazines, which are Nýtt Líf, Mannlíf, Vikan, Séđ & Heyrt, Gestgjafinn, Hús & híbýli, Golfblađiđ, Skakki Turninn and Sagan Öll. Birtíngur also publishes two corporate magazines.
A vast majority of the material is produced in-house along with increased co-operation with international publishing houses. All the magazines are first class and are very popular within the Icelandic culture. All of Birtíngur publishing operations are based at Lyngháls 5, 110 Reykjavík, Iceland.
